Here is the new motor start-up for Rick’s Panhead. It was a complete engine rebuild.
We are putting the final touches on Dennis’ 1946 Indian before start-up and test-ride.
This has been an on-going project but we are near the end. The bike was delivered to us in crates that had been sitting for 20 years. It has come a long way.

This 1940 Flathead UL motor used to belong to a good friend of ours, Robert Dail. He purchased it in 1970. We originally re-built the engine in 1971. It changed hands a few times and we were able to buy it back and are now rebuilding it again 40+ years later. Here are some photos of the finished motor and a video of the initial start-up on our run-stand.

Here is Scott’s completed “old school” chopper project. He has owned this bike for many years and wanted it restored to its original look. It is the same color as it was in the ’70s and has all its original parts. To see the initial engine run click here.
We finished Mike’s 1948 Indian. It rode like a new one and he was very happy with the job. We had it delivered to him by Arizona Motorcycle Towing (Michelle, the owner does a great job), and he is now riding and enjoying it.

This post chronicles the complete restoration of Buddy’s 1914 Excelsior. We began the project this past October and completed it today (December 20th, 2014). The frame and sheet metal came to us painted by Mike V in California. The rest was done here at HWC.
